First Day of Preschool!

Cato marched right in and was ready to start playing with the new toys and kids. His cast works great for defending snacks, and group lunch time is a nice, social affair (so far, no swapping/ bartering being conducted). First art project was to evaluate how well everyone can scribble, lol. We’re starting out easy with just 3 days per week / 3 hrs per day, but plan to work up to 5 hrs per day.

Fun horse ride at the beach…until Dunny spotted a sea monster!

Great morning riding in Morro Bay at the beach with Sierra. However, Dunny thought he saw a sea monster in the waves and unexpectedly skedaddled out of the water in a hurry. Cato held on for a while but then hit the sand hard. The nice Urgent Care, ER, and Orthopedic Surgeon office staff were all great helping us with his broken arm, and Cato’s been a serious trooper! He was especially intrigued with being inside a monster donut!

Wiggle it. Wiggle it.

Tiny Human, Toy Dog, Cool Vibes. Audio up!

Camp Sky Summer Kick-Off

Fun family outing at Sculpterra winery to celebrate the beginning of summer with the Camp Sky group. In true  North County fashion, we were glad to start early at 10 am, then escape the heat to head home before noon, lol. One of the moms brought lots of chilled melon to share, and it was a huge hit!

Home Depot DYI Project – Bird Feeder

Cato really loves getting to hammer the pieces together for projects, but I’m pretty sure he’s more excited about getting to see all the heavy equipment up close 😆. Grandma helped to fill the feeder with bird seed.

Helping at The Grandparents House

Cato has been having fun with watering (anything and everything), mowing the lawn, and feeding Dunny. There have also been plenty of breaks to play with lady bugs and eat snacks.

Parent Participation Class

We’ve been having lots of fun with our weekly outing to school (SLO Adult School). Today, the playground was extra fun with learning to hitch a ride and helping mow the lawn!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Cato!

Learning how to use tools…

Cato loves throwing/ losing his balls where he can’t  reach them… so today, we learned how to use a wrapping paper cardboard tube as a tool  to self help 😁

Uber rides for toddlers

Imagine a tiny tornado, swirled up in a laundry basket, careening across the hardwood floor. A miniature whirlwind of mischief, a tiny tumbleweed of terror, leaving a trail of chaos in its wake. That is a toddler on a Roomba, and it’s a sight to behold.
